We're going to talk about software that lets you edit images take screenshots customize your windows experience take notes and much more i use these apps on a  daily basis and i think you will too all right let's check these out the first one on the list is

1-GIMP-image Editor:

With GIMP you have all the image editing tools that you need you can transform images you can manipulate colors you add layers you can apply filters and the list goes on .when you first use it might seem a little bit hard but lucky for you there is a lot of tutorials on YouTube that will show you all of the essentials of how to use.....Download it here

2-GREENSHOT-screenshot tool:

You can get this at getgreenshot.org it's it’s like the snipping tool that comes with windows but it offers more functionality you have all of your standard capture tools you can capture an image or a zone and when you do so you can put it directly to a clipboard you can send it to an application or you can just automatically upload it to the green shot cloud it also comes with a annotation editor you can add call outs arrows text step numbers and you can use a torn page filter.....Download it here

3-HANDBREAK- video transcoder:

Its is an open source video compressor you can download it at handbrake.fr for example you have a video file in an flv format it's hard to do much with that format but you can simply drag and drop it into handbrake and it will convert it into  mp4 or you have a bunch of files in 4k but they take up a little bit too much space you can compress them all down to 1080p.....Download it here

4- Microsoft Power Toys utilities:

You can get this at  Microsoft store simply search for power toys and then click on install with power toys you get a lot of additional utilities for windows you get a color picker you get something called fancy zones and this allows you to define and configure the snap zones in windows you get a  mouse highlighter you get an app launcher along with many other utilities it's definitely worth to have it on your computer.....Download it here

5- ONENOTE- note taking app:

Here too you can also get this through the Microsoft store simply search for OneNote and then click on install if you have windows this comes for free and pre-installed with windows OneNote it’s a digital note-taking app and it's extremely useful you can capture all types of notes you can find your notes again very quickly you can access OneNote across all of your different devices .

6- SIGNAL-messaging app:

For both  pc and  mobile you can download it at signal.org you might be asking yourself do i need another messaging app there are already so many messaging apps out like whatsapp messenger Viber Skype  you name it but SIGNAL on the other hand is open source and they take care of privacy first there's end-to-end encryption by default there are no trackers there are no ads so you can count that every conversation that you write will be completely private.....Download it here

7- Microsoft To Do:

Another app by Microsoft. By using Microsoft to do it's a  standard task tracking app you can add tasks you can add sub steps and you can  assign those tasks to others you can flag emails in outlook and those will show up on your task, every morning you can add tasks to my day view section and the next morning you will get a clean slate again just like you can download it at Microsoft store by just searching for to do on google....Download it here

8- TeamViewer-remote desktop app:

You can download this app at teamviewer.com with TeamViewer you can remotely control another pc this is helpful you want to help a friend or a family member with a pc problem but he is far away from you.. you can take control of their pc or at home you want to transfer files between two different pcs you can use TeamViewer to do that....Download it here

9- VirtualBox:

You can get this at virtualbox.org it’s a virtual machine with it you can run multiple operating systems on one computer so your main computer has windows 11 on it you can set up a virtual machine with windows 10 windows 7 or even Linux this way for example you are developing a software and you want to test it on an older version of windows or maybe you want to play an retro game or you want to run a low trust software that you don't want to run on your main machine you can do all of these things with a virtual machine from Oracle company.....Download it here

10 Shotcut-video editor:

The shot cut video editor it’s a free and open source video editor it includes zero watermarks on your final output video you can import your videos you can place them on a timeline you can edit your video and there alot of different filters that you can use you can adjust the brightness you can use Chroma key you can add text you can  use key frames if you want to learn how to use shot cut to edit videos just watch a tutorial on YouTube it’s an easy software.....Download it here
